About Abhinandan Petro Packs’ 1 Megawatt Rooftop Solar System
Abhinandan Petro Packs, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, is a renowned manufacturer of plastic woven products and aluminum wire rods. Given the power-intensive nature of aluminum and plastic extrusion processes, the company already had high electricity consumption. To reduce dependence on conventional power sources and support its long-term energy strategy, the company sought solar power as a cost-effective and sustainable alternative.
Abhinandan Petro Packs selected Orb Energy as their solar partner after several thorough discussions. In November 2020, Orb Energy successfully designed, integrated, and installed a 1 MWp rooftop solar system at the manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal energy generation without disrupting daily operations.
