SOLECTRIC HYBRID
Orb’s Solectric hybrid system comes with Orb’s solar photovoltaic modules and
an efficient wind turbine with good power production at lower wind speeds.
The virtue of combining solar and wind energy is that the customer has overall
more reliable power (provided there is a strong wind regime). The system will
be generating power, stored in the batteries, even on cloudy days or at night when
there is sufficient wind.

SOLECTRIC HYBRID
Our Solectric hybrid systems come in three sizes producing up to 3 kilowatt hours of power per day on average throughout the year.
These systems are capable of running all appliances that use AC (alternating current) power. Including appliances such as lights, colour TV, ceiling fans, refrigerator, computer, etc.
The wind turbines start-up at a relatively low wind speed of 2.3 metres per second, and have protection against excessive wind speeds.
